Elinor Donahue (born Mary Eleanor Donahue, April nineteen, 1937) is an American extra, best known today for playing the role of Betty Anderson, the eldest child of Jim and Margaret Anderson on the 1950s American sitcom Male parent Knows Best.

Early life and career [edit]

Donahue was born in Tacoma, Washington, the daughter of Doris Genevieve (née Gelbaugh) and Thomas William Donahue on April 19, 1937.[two]
